Auto Show Poster

Yup...it's the auto's poster for the car show. I hate cars, so I don't go to car shows, so I didn't know anything about what would look good. Mrs Guss helped me find something I didn't hate, and so I just went with something kind of sleek and higher end looking even though it was just for a high school car show. It was a really fast job, so once I found inspiration, I was done with it in a few days. It was for Mr Jegerski, and he liked the first version I sent him. So yeah.

Coffee House

This is the poster for the May Coffee House. I had a lot of different ideas that I couldn't make work with each other, so I went with the more simple version of what I had. It started with huge diamonds but I thought they looked stupid, so I shrunk them down and made a nice pattern in the background. I realized later on, after I'd already given it to Mrs Guss and was trying to sleep, that the colors probably wouldn't show up very well once it was printed, but I'm still fairly happy with it.

Trojan Times T-Shirt

This was for Mr Hester and the kids who work on the newspaper. I didn't have to really come up with a design since they had a pretty good idea of what they wanted, but I had to completely remake the logo since Jacob didn't keep it from last year. I also had to completely make the phone graphic with the app icons, but that wasn't very difficult since I used a free reference picture and just needed to make it flat and vectorized. We went through a lot of revisions from their first idea to the final one, but it was pretty easy. Mr Hester was very happy with it, and I was happy it wasn't a very difficult job!

Seatbelt Poster

This was my submission for the seatbelt safety poster campaign...thing. I really wasn't sure what to do or where to go with this, so I just went with the most generic slogan I could think of that wasn't mean or insulting (like I was thinking of originally), and wasn't cheesy and rhyming. I don't hate it, but it doesn't make me very happy. I mean, it isn't all kinds of terrible, but it's really safe. And my general disposition towards safety campaigns isn't exactly conducive to "positive and friendly" posters. But yeah!
